Out of 211 patients, at least 12 were severely wounded, 1 was killed

From: withukraine — On the afternoon of September 18, Russia struck a geriatric home for the elderly in Sumy with guided bombs.
More than 300 people were in the building at the time of the attack: 211 patients and almost 100 staff. More than 80 patients have a disability and depend on external assistance. Due to the high risk of destruction and repeated shelling, the rescue services were forced to evacuate the elderly patients directly to the ground near the boarding house.
As a result of the attack, at least 178-year-old patient was killed, and another 12 were injured. As of 8:00 PM Kyiv time, rescue operations are ongoing, but mostly patients have been evacuated to other, safer places.
