Ukrainian pilots flying F-16 fighter jets shot down nearly 10 aerial targets during a massive Russian missile and drone attack on Nov. 17, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
According to Zelenskyy, over the past week, Russian forces have launched around 140 missiles of various types, more than 900 guided aerial bombs, and over 600 attack drones.
“Right now, we’re working to deal with the aftermath of the combined attack on our infrastructure in Rivne, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, and Odesa regions,” Zelenskyy said. “Once again, Russian terrorists are trying to scare us with cold and darkness, repeating their actions in hopes of breaking us. But the whole world sees and knows that we are defending against absolute evil, which understands no language but force. We need unity; the world needs unity. Only together can we stop this evil.”
