The massive Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine on Nov. 17 and the North Korean troops deployment prompted President Joe Biden’s decision to authorize long-range strikes inside Russia with U.S.-made missiles, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski wrote on X the same day.
Biden responded in a language Russian dictator Vladimir Putin understands.
“The victim of aggression has the right to defend itself. Strength deters and weakness provokes,” he wrote.
Earlier that day, media reported that Biden had authorized Ukraine to carry out strikes deep into Russian territory with U.S.-made ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 190 miles (306 km).
