Today Ukraine remembers the victims of the 1932-33 Genocide against the Ukrainian people. Stalin and the Soviet regime intentionally starved millions of Ukrainians to death. This was a man-made famine to destroy the nation that was unwilling to go along with Soviet ideology. This was a crime against humanity. The special laws were passed to enforce this famine. One was the law on 5 ears of grain. In just the first 6 months of this law, 55,000 people (mostly children) were shot to death for picking up on the already harvested fields 5 or more stocks of grain. 80% of Ukrainian villages were on a “black list” which meant all their grain was taken from them – nothing left for food or for planting during the next season. Experts estimate that anywhere between 4 and 7 million Ukrainians starved to death during 1932-33. Millions were not born as a result. While people were dying, the Soviet Union quadrupled exports of wheat. More than 70% of that wheat was coming from starving Ukraine and Kuban (at the time Kuban was a Ukrainian-speaking region of ruzzia). The harvest during those years was especially big, but everything was taken away by force.
Ruzzians do not give up their genocidal ambitions in this century either. When they invaded in Feb 2022 they had lists of teachers, pastors, journalists, and other community leaders to be executed. In the territories they occupied, especially in Kyiv region ruzzians proceeded with those mass executions. But it was not limited to the Kyiv region. Even just a few weeks ago, as Nick and Sergei’s hometown in Donetsk region got occupied, they recieved news that a Ukrainian teacher and her whole family were among the first who were executed when ruzzians took over the area.
Some of our American friends are repeating ruzzian propaganda saying that it was Biden who started the war, which of course, is ridiculous even from the point of view that this particular war started in 2014. Putin started the war! Nobody provoked putin in 2014 or in 2022 (big invasion), there was never a promise of Ukraine joining NATO. Putin’s attacks are not provoked by Ukraine or the West. His hate for Ukrainians is pathological and maniacal. Ruzzia wants to be an empire that destroys nations that they swallow into their territory. They have succeeded with a lot of national minorities that are under ruzzian rule. They lost their language, culture and their will for freedom. Ukraine continues to fight for those for centuries.
