Dear USA 🇺🇸,
It would appear that Russia is already encroaching on your interests via election interference in Romania, one of your key NATO partners.
Which country will be next?
Little by little you may find yourself (🇺🇸) isolated and losing the allies you think that you don’t need. Europe may find itself again fragmented and or worse, reunified under Russian influence.
How will that go for you and your economics? Who will be your trading partners? Who will help maintain democratic ideals?
Russia is not just seeking to infiltrate Ukraine.
If not now, when? If not us/you, who? Of course the “who” includes all of NATO, but all of it.
Now is not the time to circle your wagons and put your heads in the sand. This won’t blow over, it will blow up. And your children and grandchildren will pay the price for generations to come.
At the end of WW2, România came under Soviet influence. What ensued what 50 years of debilitating communism. The consequences of those 50 years have slowly been subsiding for the past 35 years, but are not yet gone.
Altogether, that 85 years. America 🇺🇸, please act to protect YOUR future.
The outgoing president, Klaus Iohannis, said Sunday’s vote would determine Romania’s future: whether it would “remain a country of freedom and openness, or collapse into toxic isolation and a dark past”.<⬇️
