Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy predicted that negotiations for Ukraine’s EU membership will begin in early 2025, according to a report on his official website on Dec. 1.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that both in December and next year, Ukraine must push forward in its EU negotiations, aiming to open the first two negotiation clusters in early 2025 and the remaining clusters within the year.
He made these comments during a meeting with European Council President António Costa, according to the Ukrainian President’s website.
Zelenskyy thanked all partners supporting Ukraine’s EU accession efforts and its NATO invitation.
Costa assured that Europe will do everything possible to help Ukraine become an EU member as soon as possible, praising Ukraine’s progress and reforms amid the war.
