From: Roman Sheremeta (Professor of Economics, Board Member, Founding Rector of American University Kyiv) A war criminal, Serhiy Yevsyukov, was killed in a car explosion in Donetsk.
He was a head of the Olenivka penal colony. In July 2023, Ukraine’s Security Service charged Yevsyukov with multiple crimes, including the torture of over 100 Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Yevsyukov was also charged in connection with the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers during the Olenivka prison terrorist attack. At least 50 Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives in the attack, with nine of them dying due to a lack of urgent medical aid. Nearly 150 others were injured.
Justice will be served to all war criminals, including Putin.
