63yo Sofia Bila has passed away after battling a severe illness. This brave woman hid three Ukrainian soldiers in the basement of her house for a month while her village in the Kherson region was under Russian occupation. She later evacuated them, successfully passing six enemy checkpoints. The immense stress caused her to suffer a stroke, and her health rapidly declined.
Her courage and sacrifice should be remembered forever. Rest in eternal glory, pani Sofia.
