Around this time it seems a very popular thing to post the end of the year conclusions, summary or highlights. What was capturing the attention of all Ukrainians in 2024 (as in 2022-23) were missile/drone attacks, blackouts and situations on the frontlines. Here are some of our “year in numbers”.
Statistics of last year include 1310 missiles and 7800 drones shot by our air defense. Of course, a certain percentage of missiles and drones were not intercepted and caused damage and took lives in places far away from the front lines.
Since the beginning of ruzzian invasion there have been 1524 air raids in the Kyiv region alone (53022 around the whole of Ukraine). In Kyiv out of 1044 days, we had air raids on 731 days. The longest period without air raids – 7 days.
Last year, electricity was out in residential buildings for almost 2,000 hours, or 81 days and 7 hours, according to analysts at Dixi Group. The worst months were June and July when we had blackouts for 65% in June and 78% in July.
Over 1044 days of the big invasion into Ukraine, ruzzians lost 792,000 of their military personnel. In 2024 alone, ruzzians lost 420,000 of their military personnel (injured and dead) to occupy 4168 km of our territory. The losses don’t seem to bother ruzzian society or their dictator.
