A few days ago UN issued a report expressing concerns about religious freedom in Ukraine. UN is not issuing a report about the persecution of Ukrainian Orthodox Church and Ukrainian protestant churches by ruzzian invaders on occupied territories of Ukraine, priests and pastors being kidnapped, tortured, and churches being destroyed or used as ruzzian military bases. They don’t seem to be that concerned about hundreds of churches of different denominations destroyed by ruzzian missile and drone strikes all over Ukraine. Still, the UN gets concerned when Ukraine, in the interest of national security, bans activities of churches and organizations affiliated with ruzzia. Ruzzia is systematically using religion as a weapon in its war of aggression against Ukraine. Through the ruzzian Orthodox Church, ruzzia sanctifies atrocities against Ukrainians and praises the criminals who commit them.
Here is the most recent news that demonstrates how supportive ruzzian orthodox church of putin’s aggression against Ukraine. In ruzzia, before sending soldiers to war, crosses with putin’s initials will be distributed. Patriarch Kirill consecrated them during the Christmas service on January 7, 2025. The Kremlin considers it an “honorary gift” for soldiers as it sends them to steal, kill and destroy.
