We are all tired of war – the war that lasts not just 1056 days. This war started with ruzzians annexing Crimea in March of 2014, soon it will be 11 years of war. But we are also very concerned about Trump negotiating with putin. We know that agreements with ruzzia are not worth the paper they are written on. We know that breaking agreements is ruzzian sport. In putin’s recent press conference at the end of 2024 he said something to the effect that it’s boring when there is no conflict. So it appears he starts wars for fun. Dishonesty is a virtue in putin’s world. I want to repost a text written by Victoria Lisovenko that gives just a few examples from probably an endless list of reasons for mistrusting any ruzzian promises and any agreements with them.
Victoria Lisovenko: “On the night of August 21, 1968, a Soviet An-24 aircraft, identifying itself as a civilian plane, requested an emergency landing at the Ruzyna airfield in Prague. After the Czechs allowed it to land, Soviet special forces rushed from the depths of the “civilian” board, seized the control tower and ensured the landing of the main invasion wave. In ruzzia literature, this evil trick towards an independent country is still called a “deceptive maneuver”.
With the news of the invasion, the office of Dubchek, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Czech Communist Party of Ukraine, the Presidium of the Communist Party met urgently. The adoption of a statement condemning the invasion was discussed. The majority – 7 voted against, 4 – “for”.
Already, at 4 o’clock, the building of the Central Committee of the Czech Communist Party was surrounded by Soviet troops, KGB officers arrested the leadership of the independent country and immediately took them to Moscow.
At the same time, all the Soviet mass media shouted that there was a revolt of the “bourgeoisie” taking place in the Czech Republic, which was, of course, controlled by the US State Department.
Since the Czech Republic had a fairly powerful armed forces (250,000 soldiers and officers with 3,000 tanks), which could well defend its country against the 500,000-strong group of invaders, the Soviet generals took the next step.
The top leadership of the army of the Czech Republic was allegedly invited to the Ruzyna airfield for negotiations under guarantees of safety. Under the word of honor of the Minister of Defense of the USSR, Marshal Grechko. And immediately they were arrested.
This, among the communists, was called a “military trick”.
46 years later, ruzzian generals Bohdanovskyi, Kartapolov and Yevstratov will give security guarantees to the Ukrainian military near Ilovaisk, open a “green corridor”, and then shoot the retreating Ukrainian troops with artillery. Together with two dozen of his own soldiers who were held captive by the Ukrainians.
This is a military trick.
And, six months later, the ruzzia military gave “the word of a ruzzian officer” not to carry out hostile actions in exchange for admission to the Donetsk airport building to evacuate the bodies of their dead ruzzian soldiers. And, again, a “military trick”: under the guise of an “honest word”, the ruzzians mined the supporting structures of the building, and then blew it up.
They say that now Moscow has started some secret preliminary negotiations through mediators about peace. Peace is beautiful. But those who will talk to the Kremlin should know and remember history. And that their “honest word” always turns into one thing: another “military trick”…
