This week, we’ve been talking with my students about the importance of making a choice for yourself and being true to your convictions no matter what. I keep thinking how these kids (8-10 years old) still seem to be babies, yet they are more mature than we think. Tonight, my son said he can’t wait to be old enough to get a job or join the army because he wants to help our country.
One of the girls mentioned that she doesn’t want to become a teenager because of the many tough choices they need to make, and she has no idea how true her statement is for adults.
God, help us learn from the children.
