Among the measures are 15% tariffs on American coal and liquefied gas, as well as 10% tariffs on oil and other American goods, including automobiles and agricultural machinery. Additionally, China has launched an investigation against Google over potential antitrust violations.
Unlike Mexico and Canada, China’s economy is much stronger and has been less dependent on the US in the past decade. So, I don’t expect them backing down from this course of action.
