The MAGA propaganda machine is now in full force. They will attack Zelenskyy for not “respecting the Oval Office,” for being “ungrateful,” and for not being “ready for peace.” Trump needed another excuse not to support Ukraine. He promised to stop the war — but he cannot. Now, he can shift the blame to Zelenskyy and Ukraine, accusing them of not wanting peace.

Frankly, I don’t see how President Zelenskyy could have responded any differently to the blatant lies thrown at him and his country. Trump continued to push the false claim about “$350 billion” and belittled Ukrainians, suggesting they “wouldn’t last even two weeks” without American support. Meanwhile, JD Vance outright accused Zelenskyy of engaging in “propaganda tours.”

Trump and Vance tried to turn Zelenskyy into a scapegoat. But he refused. He did not allow himself to be humiliated or Ukraine to be trampled.

World leaders stand behind Zelenskyy and Ukraine. And we must, too!
