3/6/2025 — The fatigue feels enormous, especially because of the amount of lies and russian propaganda repeated by the people you used to love and trust.

From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 1106)

In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
Psalm 56:10-11

Unfortunately, it’s not easy to say, “What can man do to me?” when you know what they are capable of. Rape, torture, decapitation, mass murder… The images from Bucha are still too fresh and too vivid. If russia gets its way, Bucha will be scaled up to consume the whole country.

Every day, when I teach my students or discuss fundamental questions with them, I silently ask myself if I still believe it and if it makes sense at all. I know that the whole world is in turmoil now. I know that decades or centuries from now (if Jesus doesn’t return by then), this time period will be studied and debated about, but I know that truth will prevail. Otherwise, everything is pointless.

These days have been hard. The fatigue feels enormous, especially because of the amount of lies and russian propaganda repeated by the people you used to love and trust. However, in God we trust and shall not be afraid. There’s no turning back if we want to remain.

Please keep praying for Ukraine and fighting for the truth. Resist the lies, go to the source to check the facts, feel free to ask questions, and don’t be afraid to defend what you believe in. After all, what can man do to us?
