87% of Ukrainians surveyed think Russia has no plans to halt at the territories it currently controls, according to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) published on March 11.
The survey revealed that 66% of respondents are convinced Russia’s current goal is to destroy Ukraine and its people.
Of those interviewed, 28% said Russia seeks a physical genocide of Ukrainians, while 38% believe it wants to seize all or most of Ukraine and wipe out its statehood and national identity.
KIIS data showed 14% of Ukrainians think Russia aims to occupy more land and set up a puppet government, while 7% believe it targets Donbas, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.
