3/24/2025 — Lord, let your mercy be upon us, because we put our hope in you. Psalm 32:16-22

From: Pastor Sergei Nakul (pastor of Big City Church in Kyiv – chaplain)

Yes, King David was a professional, seasoned in battles, a warrior. He knew how important and necessary quality, high-tech and high-precision weapons were in war. He knew the price of a gun and used it for a direct purpose. But at the same time, he, a professional warrior, understood one more important thing – “The king will not be protected by a great army, and the giant will not save his mighty power.” A horse is hopeless for salvation – his great power will not save. But the eyes of the Lord are upon them that fear him, who put their hope in his mercy to save their souls from death, to feed them in hunger. Our soul waits for the Lord, for he is our help and defender, –
In Him our heart will cheer, and in His holy name we put our hope. Lord, let your mercy be upon us, because we put our hope in you, Psalm 32:16-22 (Translated by R. Turkonyaka).
