Russian forces struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles on April 6, damaging the offices of state broadcasters Freedom, Dim, and UATV, including its English, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese editions, as well as The Gaze, digital department, and technical services, a statement from UATV reads.
The strike hit a business center, destroying its top three floors and rendering lower levels unusable, with a large crater left nearby.
Freedom’s statement noted significant damage to buildings housing the channels’ editorial offices, which had been relocated there after a previous Russian missile strike on Feb. 12.
