I honestly wish this were just a technical glitch. But it’s far too telling to ignore. During one of the most sacred moments of the year, this is what aired on American television.
During its broadcast of the Easter service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Fox News labeled Kyiv—capital of Ukraine that is fighting ruzzian invasion —as a russian city.
The service, held in Kyiv, was aired alongside footage from moscow’s Easter celebration, attended by putin himself. At first, the caption correctly said: “Easter Service: Kyiv, Ukraine.” Moments later, it was changed to: “Easter Service: Kyiv, Russia.” Then, some 20+ minutes later, it was changed again to Kyiv, Ukraine.
Some might shrug it off as a small mistake. But it’s hard to believe that it was not intentional. It reveals exactly the kind of people making editorial decisions at Fox News. Is Fox News now just another branch of ruzzian trolls?
