Trump is “losing patience” and annoyed with Ukraine. But he never loses patience with putin. Curious, isn’t it? After every brutal attack on Ukrainian cities Trump keeps insisting that “putin wants peace” and that it’s “easy to negotiate with ruzzia” but “difficult” with Ukraine.
Ever wonder why?
Because Trump gives putin everything he wants. He is the best President ruzzians ever had because he gives them what putin never could:
- Capitulation of Ukraine.
- De-jure recognition of ruzzian control over Crimea and de-facto acceptance of occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson.
- Guarantees that Ukraine will stay out of NATO — leaving us exposed for the next invasion.
- Lifting of sanctions on ruzzia.
- Renewed economic ties between the U.S. and ruzzia to rebuild their army and economy — so putin can wage an even bigger war later, maybe after Trump is out of office.
- Weakening of Europe, weakening (or even destroying) NATO, and gutting American national security by appointing pro-putin loyalists to critical positions.
Meanwhile, what does Ukraine get under Trump’s “peace plan”?
- A vague promise of “security guarantees” from a few European countries (not the USA).
- A symbolic piece of occupied Kharkiv region returned, while putin keeps the rest.
- Unrestricted navigation on the Dnipro River (how generous).
- Some undefined “compensation” for the destruction, with no clarity on who will pay for it.
Even after significantly increased ruzzian attacks on civilians — in Kryvyi Rih, Sumy, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv — Trump’s only reaction is that he’s “not happy with the timing.”
No outrage. No condemnation. Instead, Trump is openly annoyed and impatient that Zelensky hasn’t signed Ukraine’s capitulation fast enough. And according to Trump, we should be grateful because putin supposedly agrees not to take over the entire Ukraine — even though at ruzzia’s current pace it would take them over a century to do so.
In Trump’s mind, Ukraine should hand over its land— to putin and , and its resources – to Trump’s business allies, and then bow in gratitude to Trump. No wonder Zelensky is “difficult” to negotiate with. No wonder Ukrainians aren’t falling to Trump’s feet in thanks. We are fighting for survival. Trump is fighting for his deals and interests of his good friend putin.
Don’t be fooled. This is not “peace.”
This is not diplomacy, it’s legitimizing military aggression. It’s a violation of every international law that protects countries’ borders and ensures that aggressors/invaders are stopped and punished and prevents others from doing the same to their neighbors.
No wonder Minister of Foreign affairs Lavrov called Trump “the only leader on Earth” who agrees with moscow’s rhetoric on Ukraine and NATO. Meanwhile Trump’s envoy Witkoff has arrived in Moscow again – probably to find out how else putin can be served and pleased.
