5/1/2025 — Six drones vs ten thousand — guess which side prevailed?

From: Euromaiden Press — Six drones vs ten thousand — guess which side prevailed?

On 27 April, Ukrainian drones flew a mind-blowing 1,200 km (746 miles) deep into enemy territory, untouched by Russia’s air defenses.

Their target? The massive Shahed factory churning out 300 killer drones a day — Putin’s go-to weapon for pounding cities, blacking out the grid, and causing 27% of civilian deaths in January alone.

Converted training planes turned kamikaze drones dropped six precision bombs — collapsing the roof and obliterating the factory’s final assembly line, a choke point Russia can’t quickly fix.

The strike hit when it mattered most. Ukraine’s drones landed just as Russia unveiled the Geranium-3 — a blisteringly fast Shahed built to overwhelm air defenses and clear the skies for standard Shaheds to unleash even more havoc on civilians.

The numbers tell the whole story: while Russia flooded Ukraine with nearly 10,000 drones in 2025, Ukraine answered with six and brought the operation to its knees. David just took down Goliath’s weapons factory.
