Merz has repeatedly called for increased support for Ukraine, including the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles.
The Taurus is a German-guided missile with a range of up to 500 km and a 500 kg warhead. It is equivalent to the British Storm Shadow and the French SCALP-EG, both of which are already in use by the Ukrainian army.
