Sometimes friends ask how we are doing and certain things are hard to explain. Like this contrast: almost normal life goes on amidst missiles, death, threat of death, ruin, etc.
Today is a good example. My wife and I like thousands of others in Kyiv could not sleep from midnight till about 4 a.m. because of dozens loud explosions nearby. One of the most massive attacks: 14 missiles and 250 heavy drones (most of them hit down, praise God). Still some caused ruin, fires, injuries…
But in the morning I got up and went to Kyiv Theological Seminary and we celebrated graduation as planned.

Later I learned that also today Ukraine returned (swapped) 307 prisoners! Hundreds more are supposed to be returned in this major swap.
Such is life in Ukraine today.
And remember: Evil cannot be stopped by surrendering to it. Christians should know this better than others.
