From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 1221)
Your hand will find out all your enemies;
your right hand will find out those who hate you.
You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath,
and fire will consume them.
Psalm 21:8-9
We’re away from Kyiv for a few days. We’re at a family camp organized by our school. It’s a great and refreshing time to build relationships and forget about the cares of this life.
To be honest, one of the reasons I was looking forward to this camp week is that it’s taking place in a remote location, so it’s a chance to relax from the nightly attacks. Do you know the irony in this? We hear the drones flying over us right now, lying in our beds. They sound like a motorcycle engine or a mosquito buzz. Quite an annoying sound. But you also realize it is carrying death. I’ve counted at least ten so far, coming one after another. Yes, it’s unlikely that they will attack our location, but does it mean we can just peacefully go to sleep?
The radar monitors warn about at least four russian jets in the air and a missile launcher in the Black Sea, which means a heavy missile strike is in the making.
Lord, I just wish they all disappeared. Swallow them up and consume them with your wrath. Let them commit evil no more.
