7/4/2025 — Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity…

From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 1226)

Vindicate me, O Lord,
for I have walked in my integrity,
and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.
Psalm 26:1

It’s not a peaceful night for Ukraine. We’re not in Kyiv, but I keep checking the news and reading messages from my friends living through yet another cruel attack.

The US halted provision of military aid to Ukraine (again!). Some media published a list of goods that had already been shipped to Poland but are put on hold now. It includes air defense rockets. Why? I see no answer other than the US winning russia’s favor. Today, Russia recognized Talib’s government over Afghanistan and put up their flag. Is that the type of ally United States want to have?

A Minister of Foreign Affairs of China reportedly said that China is not interested in russia’s defeat because it would allow the USA to focus on China as their main threat, and they cannot afford that. If this does not make it clear enough that russia is already China’s vassal and they are playing the same game, I don’t know how to make it more clear. What would the United States’s best interested be?

Right now, about 30 drones are approaching Kyiv from different directions. The russian and American presidents had a phone conversation earlier today, so it makes me wonder if this is the expected productive outcome.

I understand that countries may need to put their interest first and the world does not revolve around Ukraine, but withholding military aid to Ukraine is foolishly shortsighted. You may think Ukraine is a pawn that can be traded in this geopolitical game of chess, but you invite yourself into a carefully devised trap. I pray for the eyes to be open before it is too late. Please pray and contact your political representatives and encourage them to support Ukraine. Remind them it is in their best interest.

Please keep praying for Ukraine. The night is viscious.

P.S. The pictures show the expected movement of drones. The timestamp is in the corner.
