This is beyond horrifying.
Russia has launched an online catalog where abducted Ukrainian children can be “chosen.”
Their faces are fully visible. Users can filter them by gender, eye and hair color, or whether they have siblings, as if shopping for pets. Each child is described with words like “obedient,” “calm,” and “respectful toward adults.”
Most of these children were born in Ukrainian territory before Russia’s occupation of Luhansk. Some lost their parents to the occupation forces. Others were simply issued Russian documents to cover up the abduction.
It’s a systematized erasure of identity and a violation of every human right.
