8/21/2025 — This is ruzzia’s “language of peace”—terror, destruction, lies…

From: Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (1275th day)

While leaders speak of “peace talks” with the war criminal putin, Ukraine awoke again under a storm of fire. 614 drones and missiles—hypersonic, ballistic, cruise—rained down on our land. Not on soldiers. Not on bases. But on civilians, homes, power plants. One missile struck a major American electronics plant in our western region. A place of work, of life, now in ruins.

This is ruzzia’s “language of peace”—terror, destruction, lies.

And yet, even in the darkest night, we lift our eyes higher:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

In God’s plan this war is already over and His justice is very different from human corrupted version, filled with selfish motives, excuses and ego-centered ambitions. But here is the current reality we face:

  • putin drags out “peace talks,” demanding the impossible — Ukraine’s retreat from our own land, no security guarantees, a weakened army.
  • Meanwhile, ruzzia continues bombing our cities without consequences.
  • That infamous 10-day ultimatum for putin to cease fire or face serious sanctions? Forgotten.

So please, stop asking “What can the U.S. do?” The answer is simple:

  • Impose the sanctions Trump once threatened. Not because you love Ukraine, but because ruzzia is your enemy too, it’s the only country that is behaving like criminal, ignoring international laws and that can’t be ignored.
  • Slash ruzzia’s oil & gas profits — their main lifeline. Decreasing oil and gas prices has been also mentioned in threats to putin.
  • Give Ukraine the weapons to push invaders out. A lot of military aid we have been receiving was given with all kinds of limitations on how we can use it.
That’s not escalation. It’s justice. It’s security. It’s the only path to a safer world. A disabled ruzzian war machine means fewer wars, not more.
