From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 1292)
The stupid man cannot know;
the fool cannot understand this:
that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish,
they are doomed to destruction forever;
but you, O Lord, are on high forever.
Psalm 92:6-8
Last night was the most massive combined aerial attack so far. Adding these words “so far” brings pain to my heart because I know that there’s no limit to this wickedness, and I may need to use these words “so far” again soon.
They launched more than 800 drones and 13 missiles, and the majority of them were aimed at Kyiv, but Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, and Sumy were also affected.
One of the “achievements” celebrated by the russians is the drone strike on the government building (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine), which destroyed the roof and caused fire on the upper floors. However, that’s just a building. Those are just bricks that can be replaced. At the same time, every week, hundreds of Ukrainians are killed in their homes, on the frontlines, and in the occupation. Will anything ever be able to restore that?
This night, three apartment buildings were hit. In one of them, a young mother and her 2-month-old infant were killed. The father is in a hospital in a critical condition.
In another apartment building, a young pregnant woman received severe burns and injuries. They had to induce labor to fight for the health of both the baby and the mother.
In the Kyiv region, a drone hit a farm. People were unharmed, but it killed seven horses.
russia does not want peace. They only seek blood and destruction. Yet the Lord will prevail!
For behold, your enemies, O Lord,
for behold, your enemies shall perish;
all evildoers shall be scattered.
My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies;
my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants.
The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalm 92:9, 11-12
