From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 1337) (evening)
Greeting every person with the words, “Oh, I’m so glad you came!” and literally meaning it.
Having extra grace for the students, and especially one whose apartment lost windows because of the shock wave after the explosion.
Listening to the children praying, “God, thank you that we survived this night.”
Not having electricity in our apartment building for 9 hours, which meant walking up lots of flights of stairs.
Mentally planning the next day, accounting for 8-hour-long blackouts.
Planning to go to bed in the hallway, but feeling guilty for wasting precious hours with electricity.
And how was your day?
Lord, repay them for what they have done to us!
