March 6 – Odesa

Former MTW missionary Clay Quarterman reports: “My former Russian language teacher woke us with a text message at 6 a.m., saying they are being bombed more heavily. She is a faithful member of our church. Since she is disabled, she can’t go to a shelter, and she and her husband are hiding in the small entryway to their apartment in a 10-story Soviet building. Pray for Pastor Vxxx and all the church members who we know are still in Odesa. Pray that the residential  high-rises and historic buildings would be spared, along with our historic church building in the center of the city. Pray for unbelievers to be awakened – not just to see the brevity of life, but to see the vastness of eternity to follow and to turn to God in Christ. Pray for the believers’ bold witness to have its effect on this Lord’s Day.”

  1. Northwoods Presbyterian Church, USA is thinking of you and praying for you.

    Our Father in heaven:
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us- may we forgive others.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
For Thine is the kingdom, power and glory.
Thy will be done, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, and Thy will be done on earth as in heaven.

  2. Praying for you and thinking of you!

Ps 42- …deep calls to deep at the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the LORD directs His love, at night His song is with me– a prayer to the God of my life….why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.

  3. You are daily in our prayers at River Oaks Presbyterian Church! May the Lord hide you under the shadow of His great wings.
