From Lxxx (Day 17): Dear brothers and sisters, We wish you good morning and want to share our news.
Yesterday there was a typical war day for us – distressing news about new destructions and victims in our country and the struggle for victory.
Our ladies cooked food for the soldiers in the church, Sxxx helped with transportation to the border with Moldova.
Today early in the morning we had an air alarm. But before we had two days without alarms and when we didn’t watch TV and didn’t look at the barricades that block some main streets we had a feeling of peace.
However, the mayor of Odessa addressed the people yesterday and informed about the threat of a new attack of Odessa from three sides: from the side of Crimea, from the side of Trans-Dniester republic and from the Black sea. The fact that we had several quiet days shows that the enemy was preparing.
Many people from outside ask us if we feel scared. Yes, we are scared, but our fear is a good motivation to do something. And what comforts us is the Word of God that reminds us about the sovereignty and control of the Lord. It’s very important to share this comfort of the Lord with people around.
We talk to our daughter every day. She is in Romania and she says that they are very blessed there. People there give them much attention and help them with food, medicines and even bring toys. But Kxxx cries a lot and can’t eat because she worries about us here.
We hope for a quiet day today and ask God to protect our country.
Sxxx and Lxxx
