3/27/2022 – Belgorod Dnestrovsky

From Lxxx (Day 32): Dear brothers and sisters, Yesterday Sxxxx had a call from the draft office and was directed to Odessa. During the interview there when it was found out that he is a pastor of the church and after he told about all the work the church is doing for the community and refuges, he was told to go back home and continue the work he is doing there.

Today our church will meet to worship the Lord. It’s wonderful that some of our church members who are far away want to participate, they send videos of songs they recorded to be played during the worship service. Our youth group members that are also scattered across different cities and countries keep close contacts and have regular Zoom meetings.
Yesterday evening during online church prayer many of our members were crying because their pastor was away. They will be very happy to see him in the church today.

Our counselors continue working with people around. Because people move a lot it’s hard to organize stable support groups, but we think of doing it in the future. People have so many needs, refugees need practically everything. So, our goal is to help them with their needs in addition to counseling. We are praying about it now and are looking for the opportunities.
Our counselor Axxx is in France with her daughters now. She started counseling Ukrainian refugees there.

Please, pray for us to be strong and serve the Lord in the places where He puts us. We also ask the Lord to show us specific directions what we can do in this turbulent time.

We wish you a good worship day.

In Christ,
Lxxx

  1. I am thankful Pastor S is able to stay and minister to the church and many others. It is also wonderful that youth who are scattered cam meet via Zoom. May God continue to bless your work amidst a war that we pray will end soon.

  2. Thank you for the news!

    Our Father in heaven,
    Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thywill be done on earth as in heaven.
Thine is the kingdom, power and glory.

  3. Luke 18- Jesus told this parable, to the end that men should always pray and not give up. “There was a judge who did not fear God or man. There was a widow who kept coming to him saying ‘Avenge me of my enemy!’ For a while he would not, but at last he said to himself ‘Though I do not fear God or man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will avenge her, lest she wear me out.”
Hear what the unjust judge says! And will not God avenge His own, who cry to Him day and night..”
