Almost 4 million people left Ukraine because of the war. Most of them left for Poland. This was announced on Tuesday, March 30, at a meeting of the UN Security Council by UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Joyce Msuya, Ukrinform reports .
In total, 3,901,713 Ukrainians have gone abroad since February 24, when Russia invaded Ukraine. Of these, 2.3 million people went to Poland, 602.4 thousand to Romania, another 385.2 thousand Ukrainians moved to Moldova, 359 thousand people – to Hungary, 278 thousand – to Slovakia. 271.3 thousand people went to Russia. The smallest number – 9.9 thousand people – crossed the border with Belarus.
