From Lxxx (Day 45): Dear brothers and sisters, Yesterday there was another tragic event. Two rockets hit a railway station in Kramatorsk. The enemy purposely kills civil people in the places of mass gatherings. And just a day before we received a family from that city in our church who left from the same railway station.
We are glad to see that people who stay in our church are eager to be involved in any kind of volunteering work. Some join our church women who cook for the soldiers, some come with me to the local defense center to make camouflage coverings, some join the sewing workshops that makes special clothes for the army.
Yesterday I spent some time with a lady from Nikolayev. She is a single woman and came here alone, she doesn’t have friends here, she doesn’t know the town, she also complained to some health problem. I want to become her friend and invite her to our church where she will be surrounded by people who care.
Yesterday there were several rocket attacks on Odessa. Most of the rockets were destroyed in the air but some hit infrastructure objects. Praise the Lord that the residential buildings were not destroyed.
We have a curfew introduced today from 9 p.m. till Monday 9 a.m. It means that we will have to stay at home tomorrow and can’t go to the church. We are upset because now we need the worship so much and we want to welcome new people in our church. But on the other hand we understand the seriousness of the situation and we will have our worship in Zoom. We had a group meeting with our counselors yesterday, where we shared our feelings and events we had during the week. Vxxxx was very upset after interaction with some people who have distorted theological views. They preach that the places that suffer so much of Russian aggression don’t have enough good Christians and people there don’t pray enough.
Please, pray with us for the true gospel to be preached today. Today we have to fight the lie and false teaching. Please, pray for us to be able to build good relations with new people in our area. Please, pray for the wounded people and for the families that lost their relatives. Please, pray for our army that stands for us and fights the enemy.
In Christ, Lxxx
