From Lxxx (Day 82): Dear brothers and sisters, It’s the start of a new week and we hope it will be good and we will have good news. We pray so much for the end of the war. It’s so sad to hear from some European politicians, who are advocates of Russia, advise to start negotiations about stopping the war and leaving all the borders as they are now, e.i. leaving the occupied territories to Russia. Despite all the pain, losses and troubles, we will never agree to such conditions. The evil must be destroyed, because otherwise it will destroy everyone. Our territories must be liberated so that people could come back to their homes. Though the situation in the east is very hard now we hope for the changes that will bring advantage to our army. We hear from many soldiers today that they are already having training to use new weapons Ukraine is receiving. There is much hope. But our main hope is upon the Lord.
We had a very quiet weekend. It’s such a blessing to live a day without sirens. We had a good worship and it’s so nice to see new people in the church, not only refugees but also the people from our community. The families from our church who are on the other side of the destroyed bridge can’t come every Sunday because it’s a long trip and we have difficulties with fuel now. But they want to come next Sunday when we have communion.
Sxxxx fixed his old bike and now I am a cyclist, too. Yesterday we had a good ride. Now I can be more flexible and independent. Every evening we talk to our daughter, Kxxx and our grandchildren. They are doing well, their living conditions are very good, they have everything they need. But now Kxxx starts thinking about the future because it’s temporal situation when they are cared for. These benefits they have in Romania now are given for a certain period of time and soon she will have to pay rent and take care of many things herself. This is another prayer request, please, pray for our daughter to be able to rely upon God in this situation and for a clear vision of the future, that God has for her. In Christ, Lxxx
