6/13/2022 – Brasov, Romania

From Lxxx, (Day 110): Dear brothers and sisters, Thank you for your prayers and care. I had a relaxing day yesterday. My daughter Kxxx drove to Ukraine. It was a long trip but she had no problems and by the evening got home. My day was very relaxing, I had a lot of positive emotions. It was such a joy to see my friends from Odesa and Nikolaev in the church and worship together. We had the Lord’s supper and had a good fellowship together.

My church in Belgorod, Ukraine, also celebrated the day of Pentecost. They had a good celebration and stayed for some fellowship after the worship. It was a quiet day, but there were three air alarms in the evening. Praise the Lord, nothing bad happened, there were no explosions.

There are some encouraging news of the war situation. In the east our army manages to fight off the attacks of the enemy and it seems that they are doing it more and more successfully despite Russia’s huge advantage in technology. The motivation of our soldiers is much higher. There is also progress in the Kherson region, where our brother Pxxxx is fighting now. Our local detachments go there, they fight for some time, then come back home and other detachment take their places, they have some rest, then go fighting again. But it’s a long time Paul’s detachment hasn’t come back. Probably, they don’t rotate and all detachments are fighting non-stop together. They are moving forward and liberate more and more of our territory. We hope Kherson will be liberated soon.

Txxx wrote me about new refugees in the group on Saturday. But some of them refused to accept the rules of the group, so it was a little bit challenging for Txxx. We have two volunteers, the girls from our church, who help us at the meetings like this. They meet people, make sure there are enough chairs and everybody is comfortable and they make friends with young people in the group and invite them to our church youth group meetings.

Sunday worship among displaced Ukrainians in Brasov, Romania.

Please, pray for the church in Brasov, for the people who are away from their Ukrainian churches. Please, pray for ministry for refugees in Ukraine and in Europe. Please, pray for my rest and my return home soon.

In Christ, Lxxx
