From Lxxx (Day 120): Dear brothers and sisters, Yesterday we had a webinar with MaryJo Burchard and it was about writing a new chapter of our life. We always think about future and make plans. But what should we do when everything is ruined and all dreams that we had will never come true. Here we must remember that God sometimes destroys our plans to give us the future He plans for us. So, we need to accept changes we are going through and make new plans and be thankful for the new opportunities we have now. So, today I am thinking about my new chapter and I how I can help others to write the new chapters in their lives.

Yesterday my middle granddaughter got ill with some virus, she had a temperature and was sleeping all day. I went down to the info desk which is on the ground floor of the building where we live. Everything is well organized here, volunteers keep duties there every day. I was told that I can ask for medicines there and they gave me a bottle of Panadol for children which was a great help, I didn’t have to go to a drug store. I gave Yxxx the medicine and made her drink water with lemon. Her temperature went down by the evening and this morning she woke up happy again.

Another good event of yesterday was a message from our brother Pxxxx Lxxxxxx. We hear from him not often now and we don’t know exactly where he is now but we know that he is somewhere in active fighting. He shared a verse in our church group chat: “Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” Psalms 43

He also sent a picture of a sunrise which he probably took in the field, where he is staying, during a quiet period. Please, pray with us for him, his safety and the safety of other soldiers who are with him. There were attacks on Odesa region yesterday but our air defense destroyed the rockets in the air and nothing bad happened. I wish you a good day!

In Christ, Lxxx
