From Lxxx (Day 166): Dear brothers and sisters, We are glad to start a new week and we have many plans already. We had a peaceful night but this morning started with an air alarm and we got the information about the enemy planes approaching our area. Everything is quiet so far.

We had a good worship yesterday, our church wasn’t as crowded as last Sunday but there were many new people that came again and this time we know for sure that they came to the church not just to receive help. I was glad to see the people I made acquaintance with and talked to them a little after the worship.

It was the first time our musician Sxxx (the pianist) played the organ, she performed the arrangement for Ode to Joy. Sxxx came to our church last fall and very soon became a part of our church music group. She became our main musician when our music leader Ixxxx went to the army. It’s so nice to see her growth.
We were glad to have with us Vxxxx and Sxxx Lxxxxxxxx. They live on the other side of the destroyed bridge and it takes them long time and a long way to come to the church now making a big circle.

Last month our Christian Clinic received the donation of medicines which were distributed among the hospitals of our area and some amount of it the clinic passed to the church – vitamins and some common medicines that all people use. Now when everything including medicines became so expensive it will be a good help to some of our members.

Dr. Axxx is very busy now, she can’t come to the church but she came for a few minutes after the worship to see us and we were glad to see her. Axxx told us that because the enemy is gathering troops in the south, near Nikolaev and Khesron, the level of combat readiness is raised for their medical unit and they can be moved to another place where they are needed most of all now. We pray for the safety of our area and hope that all the events that we plan for this month will take place and our plans will not be destroyed by the enemy.
We ask you to pray for Yxxxx, the military surgeon from our town who works in Nikolayev hospital. There are four surgeons left there and they have a lot of work because many wounded soldiers are brought to their hospital. Yxxxx slept 4 hours during the last three days. He has to do very complicated surgeries one of which done these last days lasted 5 hours.
We thank you for your prayer support, it’s very important for us now.
In Christ,
Lxxx

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil
Lead us not into temptation
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Thy will be done.
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as in heaven.
