From Jamie Peipon: If I were a russian, I don’t think I’d be going in any buildings that were more than a story high. There’s an awful lot of finger pointing going on. One officer even said on TV that “we need to stop lying.” That’s just not something you say on russian TV. I mean… lying is basically the entire plot of russian broadcast media!
Things are not going well for russia. According to one report, their 126th Coastal Defense Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet has been operating non-stop, without a rotation since March. In addition, they are so overextended that some small towns in the Kherson area only have 15 russian soldiers there to defend them. That all adds up to low morale and an eventual collapsing of the lines.
Ukraine has a hotline set up for russian soldiers who want to surrender. Apparently, they’re receiving thousands of calls. Today, a video surfaced of a russian IFV driving over a hill waving a white flag (which is actually a white pair of pants). russians have a better chance of a living a better life in a POW camp than they do if they tried to go home.
Another video surfaced of a large group of russian draftees who are on their own somewhere near the russian city of Belgorod. According to the video, they have not been assigned to any military unit, they have not been given any training, they just got a uniform and some underwhelming gear. They’re not happy with their situation. Another video shows a group from Omsk who say they aren’t getting paid anything. They’re also not pleased. There have been several similar videos released and it isn’t clear what exactly to make of them. Some believe them at face value. Others believe that they are staged by people who are trying to build a case to get the russian minister of defense fired. However you take them, it isn’t good news for russia.
“In your majesty ride out victoriously
for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
let your right hand teach you awesome deeds!
Your arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king’s enemies;
the peoples fall under you.”

Yes, I saw one video.
I believe it. Putin has so much blood on his hands. Sacrificing men for his ego.
I hope the new recruits do surrender, and Russia will be forced to end the war.
Thankful for answered prayer, Ukrainians, taking back territory which belonged to them. May it continue.

So sad that these soldiers are fighting for a vain cause. May truth prevail!
