9/7/2022 – What they cannot steal

From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (This post was considered by FB as breaking Community rules. I disagree. I am reposting it again.):

225th day of ruzzian invasion.

Every one of these 225 days ruzzians are stealing from us – they have stolen a sense of peace and security from every single Ukrainian, they stole lives of thousands, they stole homes of millions, they stole our land, our wheat, our power plants and factories, home appliances and children’s clothes and toys from the Ukrainian homes, they are stealing education from our kids by destroying schools, they stole our summer and spring. That’s all ruzzians know – kill, steal and destroy.

I can only guess what motivates ruzzians who come to Ukraine to fight in this war. Some simply want to loot, other losers might feel powerful when they kill unarmed people or rape women and children or they might feel better about their miserable life when they destroy someone’s beautiful home. Maybe some of these men really believe in propaganda they are being fed, though it’s hard to excuse it on propaganda in the day of availability of information to anyone interested to find it. Just look at those 300,000+ ruzzian men who fled putin’s mobilization to other countries in the past few days. They are now in a free world. Do you see them raising a protest against putin’s regime? They are not refugees, they are accomplices who are trying to avoid logical consequences.

Ruzzians continue stealing from us every day. But they can’t steal Faith, Hope and Love. Ruzzians can’t steal our faith in God who will bring justice on their heads. They can’t steal hope we have – we know for sure Light always wins over Darkness. They can’t steal the love we have – for God, for each other, for our country! They can’t steal the joy we have when we spend time with our families and friends, when we hold our babies, when we hear the news of our army liberating more and more villages and towns; when we see sunshine on another morning after a long night full of air raids.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said, “The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.” Those are the things that can’t be stolen!

  1. Amen and amen! Job 5: 13- 15 He catches the wise in their craftiness,
and sweeps away the plans of the cunning. They encounter darkness by day
and grope at noon as in the night. He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth and from the clutches of the powerful.
