10/13/22 – 3 weeks of terror in Bucha

ADMIN: This letter was forwarded to me from Susi, who had volunteered helping the MTW Ukraine Crisis Response Team in Kraków, Poland. Alice and Vitaly, from Bucha, showed up at the Help Center and relationships began.

Vitaly and Alice

Received this letter from Alice – we met her in Krakow when she appeared at our Saturday ladies luncheon that I hosted with Katya and Karina.

She is a sister in Christ. She shared her story of how the Holy Spirit had helped them all through 3 weeks of terror in a dark church basement. I praise God for her and for each of you. Keep on. – Susi

Shalom to you dear friends.

The world today outwardly has changed a lot and will never be the same again. Yesterday new horrendous atrocities took place against our country and our people.

The pain is great. The trials that we are now going through as a whole country are impossible to bear by human standards. But what gives you the strength to go? What helps us stand in prayer, what gives us confidence that we will endure? –

This is faith in our Lord!

It is that today in this fire on our beautiful earth new Christians are being born again in Spirit and Truth. This is the fact that the people of Ukraine, as the people of ancient Israel, turn their eyes away from the worldly and place all their hope in Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted an appeal on his Twitter. What did he write about? About arming the army? A worldly person will answer – “no”, and we will say – “yes”! He turned with a word from the Bible and asked everyone to pray for Ukraine! Through the prophet Jeremiah, the Lord said: “CALL TO ME!….. AND I WILL SHOW YOU THE GREAT AND NOT ACCESSIBLE!”

We know that the people who trust in the Lord will not be put to shame! This is the promise of our Heavenly Father. And we stand on His promises and rejoice that in the crucible of these trials new saved souls are born, our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

We know, dear brothers and sisters, that you stand with us in prayers and yesterday you stood in the prayer gap for Ukraine again! We are all one body, and we, Ukrainians, are grateful to you, for there will be neither Greek nor Jew in heaven, but we are all children of God, and if it hurts one member of the body of Jesus, it hurts the whole body.

May the Lord bless you, your families, your homes and you will see your prayers answered dear ones.

with love and respect, Vitaly and Alice.

  1. Great testimony of God’s care amidst such trouble, and knowing many are coming to know Him, as their Savior. May the Lord hear the cries of his children, be merciful and bring deliverance from the evil one. ❤❤❤🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

  2. May the Lord hear our cries to protect and defend Ukraine. Just as you heard the cries of the oppressed Israelites in Egypt and delivered them, please deliver this people. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!

  3. And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord from Exodus 14 God parts the Red Sea and the Israelites walk through it on dry land

And he *[Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. 2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. *from Luke 18 “The Parable of the Persistent Widow”

It sounds like Ukraine’s Commander-and-Chief of Armed Forces knows the source of true strength that prevails and is ultimately victorious – the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. *At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” * from Phillipians 2
