From Lyuda (Day 209): Dear brothers and sisters, I want to thank you for your help, care and prayers. Thank you for the donations for generators. We received first four generators that we ordered and more are coming. One generator was sent to the church in Kherson, it will generate the electricity for the church building there and it will be very helpful for the life of the church in the city where people face so many difficulties now.
Another one we sent to the group from Vova and Angela’s church in Odessa. They organized a place where they cook food for people and distribute different kind of help. Now they will be able to cook during blackouts and provide hot drinks, people will come to charge their gadgets and there will be much opportunity to share gospel.
One of the generators was donated to the family of refugees in Odesa. They have five children and it was hard for them during blackouts, they could not heat their place. Now their life is more comfortable.
The group in our local defense center that makes camouflage covering for the army works in cold rooms without heating, now the people who work there every day will be warm and will be able to boil water and make hot drinks.
We are going to order more generators that will help the ministry of our counseling center, our soup kitchen in Odessa and some other ministries we intersect with.
Yesterday we had a very good meeting with a psychologist who has interest to cooperate with our center. His name is George and he is a Christian, he served in the army as a chaplain and later as a combat soldier. Now he has a strong desire to work with the soldiers having PTSD and other traumas of war. He has experience and knowledge to do it. We hope we can start a new direction in our work now.
Please, pray for our work and ministry, for the wisdom for us as we start new projects, for our plans of refugee center.
In Christ,
Lyuda
P.S. There are photos of the worship and fellowship of the church in liberated Kherson.
