From Jamie Peipon (Day 307): In the picture you can see a few of the servicemen from the Ukrainian Air Defense. Each time they are able to down a russian missile or drone, they mark it with a symbol on their equipment. Judging by the number of marks painted, it looks like this unit has performed particularly well.
Back in russia, there has been another batch of “mysterious” deaths. On December 7th, a director of an IT company fell from his balcony to his death while the police happened to be inside searching. On the 9th, the founder of a russian construction company died after reportedly falling down the stairs during a trip to the French riviera. On the 22nd, a russian business man died in India from apparent heart problems. He had never had heart problems previously. He had been traveling with a business associate who was the founder of a processed meat company. On the 24th, that man died at the same hotel in India having fallen out of his hotel window. Also on the 24th, the General Director of the Admiralty Shipyards died suddenly in St. Peterburg. No explanation has been offered for his death. These all could just be coincidences… or perhaps not.
The Iranian drones are still being used regularly, including this evening over multiple regions of Ukraine. Iran has denied that they have provided russia with any of their drones. If you listened to Zelenskyy’s speech to the US Congress, you will have heard that he made a point of mentioning that the drones had come from Iran. According to reports, 98% percent of these Iranian drones are targeting civilian infrastructure and population centers.
“Each evening they come back,
howling like dogs
and prowling about the city.
There they are, bellowing with their mouths
with swords in their lips—
for ‘Who,’ they think, ‘will hear us?’
But you, O LORD, laugh at them;
you hold all the nations in derision.
O my Strength, I will watch for you,
for you, O God, are my fortress.
My God in his steadfast love will meet me;
God will let me look in triumph on my enemies.”
