From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 336):
How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
Psalm 36:7
Following Germany’s announcement of the provision of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, the US announced today about sending us M1 Abrams tanks. Ukraine is to receive over 100 modern tanks in total, including those promised by other governments as part of the re-export program. Ukraine first submitted a request for modern tanks on March 3, 2022. A year later, they are finally on their way. To me, it’s a reminder to trust God’s timing.
Ukrainian army had to retreat from Soledar. We believe it is temporary. Our troops accomplished the task of exhausting the enemy and took the manuevre to save personnel. Our prayers are with the civilians remaining in the city.
As I’m writing this, the air raid sirens are going off in many regions of Ukraine. There are reports of kamikaze drones taken down and more drones going toward objects of critical importance. Often, they would send drones to test our air defense, and then missiles come next. Lord, have mercy.

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
Lead us not into temptation.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Thy will be done, Thy kingdom come.
