2/7/2023 – New ruzzian offensive expected

From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (347th day of ruzzian invasion): Foreign intelligences are warning Ukraine that ruzzians will start a new big offensive within the next 10 days. The most likely direction is from the east since that’s where there is biggest concentration of ruzzian troops, but our military is preparing for a possible attack in the south as well. And since Kyiv is one of the most desired targets for ruzzians the attack from the north is also not completely out of the question. The majority of experts tend to think that it will not be from three directions like it was in the beginning of the invasion a year ago.

Our team decided to make a humanitarian aid trip to the east as soon as possible since that area is in the greatest danger from ruzzian attack. So we are packing food tomorrow and the team is starting the trip on Wed. Prayers for safety are greatly appreciated.

Nick has been trying to convince his brother, Sergei, to come to Kyiv and stay with us till the situation in the east becomes safer. Sergei’s town is very close to the front lines and lately, he has been saying that the cannonade was very loud. He is still refusing to evacuate because looters are robbing the houses of people who leave.

We continue to pray that God will ruin enemy plans and that none of their evil schemes will have success. Praying Psalm 35 for Ukraine:

Contend, LORD, with those who contend with Ukraine;
fight against those who fight against Ukraine.
2 Take up shield and armor;
arise and come to Ukraine’s aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin[a]
against those who pursue Ukraine.
Say to Ukrainians,
“I am your salvation.”
4 May those who seek Ukrainians’ life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot Ukraine’s ruin
be turned back in dismay.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 Since they hid their net for Ukraine without cause
and without cause dug a pit for Ukraine,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 Then Ukrainians’ souls will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.
10 Our whole being will exclaim,
“Who is like you, LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

23 days left till spring…
