From Lyuda Betina (Day 355): Dear brothers and sisters, It’s nice to start a new week with good emotions. We had a wonderful day yesterday. It was quiet and we had electricity in the church and there was a festive atmosphere: the music, the preaching, the prayers and many greetings.

Our worship was special. There were many people in the church. During the worship we saw video greetings from Dr. Anya and Paul. It was so nice to see them. They sent their best wishes to the church and said how much their church family means for them. How wonderful that they found a way to be with their church on this special day even in this circumstances of the war.

The group of refugees presented their greeting, it was so sweet of them. They came in front as a group and recited a poem about the church. They also spoke and thanked the church for acceptance and care. It is so nice to feel them a part of our family.
We had a power picture presentation at the end of a church history with the photos. It brought so many good memories. It was nice to see the faces of our church members who are with the Lord now, to remember many interesting events we had and ministries we did. It was especially interesting to see our children, when they were small and realize how fast they grew up and became involved in the church ministry.

There were photos of the construction of our church building which is a great blessing for us. We remembered with tears our dear brother Vitaliy who worked so hard to make our building nice and comfortable. We have a big sanctuary, class-rooms, fellowship rooms, a kitchen and a gym. It allows us to do many different activities and it is a blessing for Pentecostal church that meets in our building now.

After the worship we all came down to our fellowship room in the basement and had some refreshments. It was a good opportunity to talk to new people. There were some new old ladies from the community, how nice that they came to the church on that special day.

Celebrating 27 years of our church, we thank God for His universal church of which we are all a part. May God bless all your churches and your ministries. Thank you for your prayers and support.

In Christ,
Lyuda
