2/13/2023 – Russian servicemen deliberately disabled military equipment to avoid participating in hostilities.

Today’s picture – just a candy that gently reminds you to pray for Ukraine (that’s what it says on the wrapper).

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 354):

With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good. For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.
Psalm 54:6‭-‬7

Our General Staff reported that the Russian invaders have turned Mariupol into a repair station for their military equipment, which was deliberately disabled by Russian servicemen to avoid participating in hostilities. The main reason for the failure of military equipment is the intentional engine damage.

Pray for more deliberate stalling and sabotage in the Russian army!

The UK Ministry of Defence states that over the past two weeks, Russia has likely suffered its highest rate of casualties since the first week of the invasion of Ukraine. The mean average for the last seven days was 824 casualties per day, over four times the rate reported in June-July 2022. The uptick in Russian casualties is likely due to a range of factors, including lack of trained personnel, coordination, and resources across the front – this is exemplified in Vuhledar and Bakhmut.

Let’s keep praying for the Russian attacks to fail, for their weapons to malfunction, and for their soldiers to see the truth and start fighting for it. God can do the impossible!
