From Jamie Peipon Jackson, MS): This map shows where supplies from the Crates for Ukraine program have reached their final destination. You can see that supplies are going mostly to areas that have been recently liberated, and in many cases to places that are still under occupation. It is amazing to think that each pin on the map represents something that YOU packed in a crate with your own hands, that was then placed directly in the hands of a person in need.
As First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, MS has a goal of gathering supplies for 100 crates by the end of this month, I’m glad to report that around five crates worth of supplies have already arrived. Even more supplies have been purchased and are in transit. Still others have been promised and are in the works. I’m encouraged to see churches from around our area also pitching in and adding their own help. It is exciting for me to have both a front row seat and a bird’s eye view of how God’s people are at work to help our brothers and sisters on the other side of the globe.
There is still so much to be done! If you are not yet involved in this project, whether you are local or far off, please do reach out to me and/or visit: http://www.fpcjackson.org/crates
