From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (369th day of ruzzian invasion.): Zero days left till spring… Tomorrow spring comes to Ukraine! It’s still going to be cool weather for a while, but the worst of cold temperatures are behind us! We can say, we made it through the winter!

It’s weird to be counting the days of ruzzian invasion in Ukraine while being far away in the safety of the States. But my being safe for a few days here doesn’t really affect the awful count of days of war in my beloved Ukraine which is still being torn and wounded by invaders.

Walking around the neighborhood in Roswell, GA, I enjoyed the warm weather, spring flowers, and blooming trees. Sunshine and flowers do inspire hope. Counting down to 0 days to spring irrationally feels like a sort of victory. If only we could start counting the days to the big Victory over invaders, to the day of the liberation of all our land from aggressors! We know the Victory is ours, but there are still days of war ahead.
