From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (371st day of ruzzian invasion): Spring brought another intermediate victory, one big step closer to the final Victory! Yesterday Ukraine defeated putin for the 5th time! The spring brought the end of the winter terror that putin tried to use to break our resolve to fight the invasion.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba listed five defeats of putin in Ukraine since start of the invasion:

“We endured the most important winter in your history. We were cold and dark, but we were indomitable.
Ukrainians keep defeating putin and his plans.

The first defeat was when we did not allow putin to paralyze us with fear from the first minutes of the invasion.

The second was when we thwarted the Russian blitzkrieg plan. Ukraine fell neither in three days, nor in seven, nor in a month, nor in a year. And Ukraine will never fall.

We inflicted the third defeat on the ruzzian federation on the diplomatic front: the world coalition for Ukraine, resolutions, ruzzia’s isolation, flows of weapons, sanctions, energy, financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The fourth defeat was ruzzia’s loss of a large part of the occupied territories of Ukraine as a result of the effective actions and counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

The fifth came with enduring the hardest winter while our infrastructure sustained massive missile attacks time after time, plunging our cities into darkness for hours. But damaged energy facilities were repaired in record times. We didn’t just survive, we thrived, we helped each other, we got creative in continuing to live our lives in difficult circumstances to the fullest. We come into spring of 2023 stronger, more united, and more determined to work together toward Victory.

As Kuleba said: “There is still a long way to the final victory. But you and I already know how to win. We have to work for it every day and believe in Ukraine.”
